Taco-ing it to the next level
We worked closely with Mamacita Taqueria to design their brand identity and restaurant. Our aim was to avoid the usual tired clichés commonly associated with Mexican restaurants. We achieved this by taking our own interpretation of Mexican aesthetic.
The brand identity features a rich and feminine colour palette, and a combination of typefaces inspired by the popular sign writing style in Mexico. We designed a series of murals and patterns that add depth and intricacy to the visual identity. This is all complemented by an abundance of colourful flowers and decor which create a welcoming and refreshing experience for the customer. We collaborated with Mamacita from macro decisions such as layout and customer experience, to little details such as the colour of tile grouting, and everything in-between..
